In this post, I’m going to talk about the side effects of peppermint oil inhalation, and most importantly, how you can avoid these terrible symptoms.
The first thing we need to talk about is that peppermint oil is no easy substance, it’s very powerful, it contains lots of active compounds which are going to hurt you if you don’t know how to use it, this is the reason why I only advice you to use a carrier oil whenever you would like to apply peppermint oil, we will come to this point later on in this post when I show you how you can inhale peppermint oil without side effects.
For now, let’s talk about the three most important side effects of peppermint oil inhalation:
The first one is skin problems.
Of course, these side effects are only going to happen when you inhale a lot of peppermint oil, say for example half a teaspoon a day, this can be extremely powerful, and can even cause much more further damages to your lungs and your skin as well, so, be very careful, and never inhale peppermint oil unless you know what you are doing.
Yes, when you apply peppermint oil on your skin, let’s say under your nose for example, and here, I’m talking about pure peppermint oil, every day, it’s going to end up causing you lots of side effects, the most common ones are skin rash and irritations!
This is very easy to understand, peppermint oil contains highly effective and powerful compounds, which can cause lots of inflammations to your skin, so, always use a carrier oil.
It’s for your own benefit and protection.
The second one is a hallucination and fever.
Hallucinations and fever may seem like too far-fetched side effects, but it’s the truth, if you don’t know what you are doing, and you keep on inhaling a lot of peppermint oil on a daily basis, you are going to end up suffering from terrible hallucinations.
I suffered from this myself, I started applying peppermint oil on my scalp on a daily basis, and after only seven consecutive days of use, I started seeing people in my dreams, and even worse, I dreamt of my children being dead!
I’m telling the truth right now, this happened to me, you need to be very careful when inhaling peppermint oil, this is the reason why I highly recommend that you use my technique, the one you are going to find out at the end of this post.
And the third one is tiredness.
It is no wonder that one of the side effects of inhaling peppermint oil is tiredness, after all, it’s highly used when you are having trouble falling asleep, so, when you use a lot and you start inhaling it on a daily basis, you are going to find yourself suffering from terrible tiredness on a daily basis, even worse, your heart rhythm may change, so, be very careful.
Now, here is how you can inhale peppermint oil without causing yourself side effects:
Simply take two drops of almond oil and mix them with two drops of peppermint oil, then, simply apply under your nose.
You should never exceed seven consecutive days of use, this is for your own protection.
