Is lavender oil safe for your skin? The answer is absolutely not!
I don’t want to scare you, but it’s the reality, if you put lavender oil directly onto your skin, then, you only have yourself to blame!
I don’t want to scare you, but it’s the reality, lavender oil is an essential oil after all, it contains many powerful compounds, they are the ones responsible for healing your skin, however, when you use too much, high amounts, these are going to attack your hair follicles and cause inflammations and itchiness all over your skin, trust me, you don’t want to experience such side effects, they are terrible in my opinion.
So, I really want you to pay close attention to what I’m going to explain to you in this post, it will literally save your skin!
This has happened over and over in the past, a lot of my readers have used lavender oil and other powerful essential oils directly onto their skins, only to ask me later on about solutions because they were suffering from terrible side effects such as itchiness, swollen areas of their bodies, redness, and lots of inflammations and pain!
This is the reality about using lavender oil and other essential oils directly onto your skin, it can be very damaging, and this is also the reason why I have shown throughout this website the right way to use lavender oil and other essential oils for your skin is through mixing them with a carrier oil.
This is very important for you to understand because if you do not use a carrier oil, a good one, your skin is going to become inflamed and sore very quickly!
Usually, I would advise my readers to use almond oil when it comes to lavender oil, but since most people don’t like the smell, I highly recommend that you use coconut oil or if you enjoy its smell, olive oil, although they are very smelly as well if you ask me!
But you are free to use whatever carrier oil you would like to, but in general, almond oil or argan oil are the best when it comes to using lavender oil.
So, here is the right way to use lavender oil for your skin:
Simply take a quarter of a teaspoon of lavender oil and mix it with one teaspoon of almond oil or your favorite carrier oil, then, apply no more than one teaspoon a day to your skin, make sure you massage very gently, when you are done, wait twenty-five minutes, and then rinse using your favorite soap and warm water.
This is by far the right way to use lavender oil for your skin, and trust me, it’s also the safest.
It will get rid of pimples, acne spots, dark spots, black and whiteheads, and most importantly, it will make your skin amazingly beautiful and protected all day long.
